Northmont Preschool serves both children with special needs and typically developing peer models, ages 3-5, and helps them to develop social skills and readiness skills needed for kindergarten.
The Northmont Preschool program is designed primarily to meet the needs of children with disabilities starting at age 3, and there are a very limited number of openings for typically developing peer models.
Enrolling a Child with Special Needs
The Northmont Preschool program is designed to meet the needs of children with disabilities starting at age 3. If you are concerned that your child may have a delay, please call 937-832-6755 to speak with the preschool staff about your concerns.
Enrolling Typically Developing Children
The Northmont Preschool will begin new student registration for the 2025-2026 school year for typically developing children who are residents of the Northmont City Schools District on Monday, March 10th, 2025. Priority placements will be given to children who are 4 years old on or before August 1st. If spots remain, three year old students will be accepted. All children must be toilet trained, have well-developed language skills, and acceptable social skills to enroll as a typical peer role model in the preschool for the 2025-2026 school year. Letters will be mailed by April 1st to notify you of acceptance to the program or placement on the waitlist. Children who are five years old on or before August 1st are eligible to enroll in kindergarten.
