Board Spring 2022

The Northmont Board of Education is dedicated to working hand-in-hand with parents, businesses, service organizations, and the community to improve student achievement.

The Northmont Board of Education is made up of five citizens who are elected by school district voters to serve four-year terms. They are dedicated to providing the best possible education for the students of the Northmont School District.The Board's major function is to develop operating policies that will best serve the needs of students. The Board employs the superintendent whose job it is to execute the policies and provide leadership to staff.

Regular meetings of the Board of Education are held the second and fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at schools throughout the district. In June, July, and August the Board meets at the Northwood PDC on the second Monday of the month only. All meetings of the Board of Education are open to the public and are held to conduct official school business.
