**2020-2021** New Student Enrollment

New Student Enrollment for the 2020-21 School Year is now open!

~New students enrolling in grades K-12 will complete the process online.

**Due to COVID-19, Northmont students will be learning remotely until October 21, 2020.**

~Students entering Kindergarten MUST be 5 years old by August 1 of the school year for which they're being registered.


  • Students MUST be residents of the Northmont City School District.
  • Non-Resident students may be eligible for enrollment as a tuition student. For more information regarding tuition enrollment, click here.
  • Online Enrollment does NOT include Preschool Registration. 
  • Students currently attending Northmont, who have moved within the district, should contact the school building. Do NOT use this online enrollment link.


Follow these steps to complete the Online Enrollment process:

Step 1- Online 
After reading ALL instructions, complete the online enrollment forms by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page. Completion of the enrollment forms will take approximately 20-30 minutes. If you need assistance or have questions please contact the Enrollment Helpline at 937-832-5033 and leave a message. Your call will be returned in a timely manner.


Step 2- Submit Required Documents to Finalize Enrollment
The online enrollment will conclude with instructions for sending the required documentation listed below.  These documents can be sent via email to enrollment@northmontschools.net as attachments with your child’s name listed in the subject line.  Pictures of the required documents will also be accepted as long as the information is legible.
The following documents are required for enrollment and missing or incomplete documents will result in a delay of enrollment. 

  • copy of birth certificate

  • TWO (2) proofs of residency** - see below for details

  • copy of parent/guardian ID or driver's license

  • immunization records

  • court-stamped custody documents (if applicable)

  • IEP / MFE / 504 Plan (if applicable)

  • Complete Physical (Kindergarten & Grade 1) - click here to download the appropriate physical form


**Proof of residency (TWO required):

Own your home?  Current property tax statement or bank escrow papers listing parent/guardian name and address, and a current utility bill (gas, electric, phone, or water with name and address). Property tax statements are available for download at Montgomery County Resident: www.mcrealestate.org, Miami County Resident: www.miamicountyauditor.org, Darke County Resident: www.darkecountyrealestate.org


Rent your home? Current lease or rental agreement (with landlord name, address, contact #, and expiration date) and a current utility bill (gas, electric, phone, or water with name and address.)


Temporarily sharing a home?  An Affidavit of Shared Residency must be completed during enrollment. Additional documentation is required from the homeowner. click here to download Affidavit of Shared Residency
